DATUM® compressors move natural gas in extreme conditions
Many natural gas companies rely on DATUM® compressors for their pipeline projects. And with good reason, too. For example, we created powerful DATUM solutions for two of the world’s most ambitious pipelines: the Middle East’s Dolphin Gas Project and Russia’s Nord Stream network. Our reliable solutions delivered large amounts of natural gas in extreme weather conditions.
In the case of the Dolphin Project, six installed DATUM units helped transport 70 million cubic meters of natural gas per day from Qatar to Abu Dhabi. The system exceeded 60,000 horsepower despite conditions ranging from extreme desert heat to underwater Persian Gulf temperatures
When the world’s largest gas company requested help with an extension to Russia’s vast Nord Stream pipeline, we deployed DATUM compressors capable of moving over 150 million cubic meters of natural gas per day from frigid eastern Siberia to Germany underneath the Baltic Sea.
